NBA player Matt Barnes will not be charged in his arrest for allegedly attacking his fiancee, Gloria Govan, back in September.
TMZ reports that the District Attorney has determined there is not enough evidence to prosecute Matt for assaulting the “Basketball Wives” star.
The D.A. has stated, “The decision was made following additional investigation, and was based on the insufficiency of the evidence.”
Barnes was arrested Sept. 8 after deputies responded to a disconnected 911 call from his home. Sheriff’s deputies said they found visible injuries on his fiancee, Gloria Govan. Barnes pleaded his innocence and said that he was the victim!
