During an awards ceremony for law enforcement officers a city commissioner in Tamarac, Florida took the opportunity to call out one of the officers being honored. After multiple honorees received their awards and took pictures with officials and were heading back to their seats Mike Gelin, who is a Tamarac city commissioner called Deputy Joshua Gallardo back to the floor. He noted that the officer had falsely arrested him 4 years ago. He reminded the Deputy know that he lied on his police report and told him that he didn’t deserve to be honored.
