The ceremony is part of a Black History Month commemoration hosted by Congresswoman Joyce Beatty, The Ohio State University and the Central Ohio Transit Authority.

“By taking a seat, Rosa Parks stood up for millions of Americans and we can never forget that monumental step she took,” Rep. Beatty said during the dedication ceremony.
