A Cincinnati city councilman is proposing the idea of making the downtown streetcar free for riders.
David Mann told WLWT in an interview that making the ride free could motivate more people to use it, and generate ridership numbers as high as Kansas City’s streetcar.
To make up for lost revenue, Mann proposed the operating costs to be covered by downtown developers.
