Cincinnati City Council will hold a special session today to vote on the FC Cincinnati stadium proposal on the West End.
WCPO reports that FC Cincinnati president Jeff Berding met with West End community leaders, this past weekend, to put the finishing touches on a community benefits agreement. It’s appeared to be the last hurdle to clear before a city council vote.
The proposal calls for the city to provide $34 million for site support for the 21,000 seat stadium. Other sites proposed were Oakley and Newport, Kentucky.
