This week, everyone in gospel has been raving about the premiere of the new season of BET’s longest running show Bobby Jones Gospel. On this past Sunday, October 3rd, Bobby Jones Gospel began its 30th season at with a special tribute to the late Walter Hawkins.
The premiere episode featured performances from Richard Smallwood & Vision, Kim Burrell, Karen Clark Sheard, Kurt Carr & the Kurt Carr Singers, Byron Cage, Pastor Shirley Caesar, Jennifer Holiday and Kathy Taylor, but just in case you missed any of it or the recent tributes to Walter Hawkins, don’t worry because we’ve got you covered as usual.
