A passenger on Lion Air was arrested after he put on a life vest during his flight from Jakarta to Padang, Indonesia. About 30 minutes into the 1 hour and 45 minute flight the man got out his life jacket and put it on. He also put one on his grandmother. According to the airline, flight attendant asked the man why he had his vest on, he went to the front of the cabin and told the other passengers to put their life jackets on because he “could see and feel” danger. He was repeatedly asked to return to his seat and remove the life vest. Eventually the crew removed the mans jacket and put it away but he kept putting it on. He was arrested when the plane landed in Padang.
