1 Peter 4:8 says love covers a multitude of sins, which is something Tina Campbell of the GRAMMY® Award-winning duo Mary Mary can attest to.
In a new Instagram post, the red-haired singer shares some great advice for those who want to experience marital bliss: show more love.
“LOVE is how we communicate with each other. It starts with receiving it for yourself through humility. You humble yourself before God and just receive His Love that is unmerited,” writes the wife who weathered the storm brought on by her husband Teddy Campbell’s well publicized infidelity.
She continues, “Once you truly do that, then you have to give it away! You don’t deserve God’s Love and neither does the person you give it to. But TRUE love is not based on a feeling or what someone deserves but it’s based on a commandment given by our King, Jesus (John 13:34).”
The WE tv reality star, who is lifting souls across the nation through her “An Evening with Teddy and Tina Campbell” 2016 Fall tour going on now through November, is very honest about her rocky journey back to wholeness. Forgiving her cheating husband and choosing not to live life angry and scorned was a long, grueling process.
