Travis Greene is the latest gospel music singer who is taking his ministry one step further by starting his own church. Greene, 32, made the announcement on Instagram about his place of worship opening its doors next August in South Carolina.

“It’s About to Go Dooooown!!! So excited about the Official Launch of Forward City Church @4wardcity on 8/21/16,” the message reads. “Mark your calendars & get to Columbia, SC!!!! More info coming soon.”

The Grammy-nominated singer known for hits like “Intentional” received support from other gospel singers turned pastors. Pastor William McDowell from the Deeper Fellowship Church in Orlando, Florida, happens to be a good friend and fellow gospel singer of Green.

McDowell expressed his excitement for the venture on social media.

“My great friend @travisgreenetv will have his official launch August 21st,” McDowell wrote on Instagram. “So excited for he and his family and the @4wardcity family!”
