GRAMMY®, Dove and Stellar Award-winning gospel artist Tasha Cobbs is peeling back the layers of who she truly is.

The “Break Every Chain” singer gets candid about life, depression, losing her dad and more on Centric TV’s “Being,” airing April 2 at 10 p.m. EST.

“The depression was something that I had just kind of tried to ignore because it’s not popular,” says the 34-year-old in a preview clip of the up close and personal interview posted on her official Instagram page. “And so it was something that I hid.”

“Being,” a documentary series highlighting some of music and entertainment’s most dynamic figures, featuring never-before-seen photos, videos, revealing interviews and more, exposes Cobbs’ private pain.

Among the tough topics of discussion is the loss of her father, Bishop Fritz Cobbs, who passed in January 2014.
