DC Comics is ready to welcome a black female superhero on one of its primetime television shows.
Wednesday night marked the debut of Vixen on the tv show, “Arrow”. She is a woman from Africa, named Mari McCabe, that wears a mystical totem that gives her all the powers of the animal kingdom.
Vixen is DC’s first black female superhero. She came out in Action Comics back in July, 1981.
