An investigation is underway to the source of a chemical spill in Middletown.
Police say Sulfur Trioxide started leaking yesterday from a truck at Pilot Chemical in Yankee Road, causing a bloom of toxic, corrosive, gas.
People living near the plant were ordered to shelter in place for nearly an hour, while the spill was contained.
