There are no depths you can sink to that are so low as to render God incapable of lifting you up. One woman’s story proves just that.

Shay was raised in a loving home by her mother and stepfather. Her grandfather was a pastor and she, for a time, was a quiet, reserved, obedient child.

But after falling in with the wrong crowd, she found herself deep into the sex industry, addicted to drugs and desperate for a savior.

During an interview with CBN, Shay shared her journey from being shy and protected, to partying nonstop and using Ecstasy.

“Drugs helped me to open up,” she said. “I was always a shy person, always reserved, always kind of insecure, always felt a little unworthy. So drugs made me feel like, I can. They made me feel like Superwoman.”

Chasing that feeling, however, was costly.

Shay’s drug habit had her missing days of work, eventually leading to her termination.
