Donald Trump On Debate: ‘It’s Gonna Be Good’

An exuberant Donald Trump predicted Monday night that he would be victorious at this week’s CNN Republican presidential debate.

“We have a big night tomorrow night,” Trump said, as he rallied a raucous crowd at the Westgate Resort & Casino on the Vegas strip. “It’s gonna be good.”

Trump also predicted that he would be a favorite punching bag on stage.

“They’re all coming after me,” he said. “This will not be an evening in paradise for me, do we agree?”

Trump and 12 other Republican White House hopefuls are preparing to take the debate stage here in Las Vegas Tuesday night, for the final GOP showdown of the year.

Speaking to thousands gathered inside a hotel ballroom, Trump recalled his campaign announcement speech in June.

Cosby Sues 7 Accusers For Defamation, Seeks Damages And Retractions:

Bill Cosby has struck back against some of the dozens of women who’ve accused him of sexual assault.

The world-famous comedian countersued seven women who’d sued him for defamation, saying they actually defamed him.

By saying he sexually assaulted them, the women hurt his reputation so much that plans for a new family comedy on NBC were derailed, the counterclaim said.

The women made “malicious, opportunistic, and false and defamatory accusations of sexual misconduct against” Cosby, his lawyer Monique Pressley said in a statement. They made the accusations to hurt Cosby’s reputation and to obtain financial gain, Pressley said.

Rare Star Wars Toy Collection Fetches $500,000 At Sotheby’s Suction:

Star Wars fans are a fanatical bunch, and when they’ve got the money to support their deep love for the series, crazy things can happen.

Take NIGO (real name Tomoaki Nagao), the Japanese designer behind luxury clothing brands Billionaire Boys Club and A Bathing Ape. The Star Wars mega-fan is not short of a few dollars, and a fair few of them have been ploughed into his memorabilia collection.

On Friday he put up for sale a small fraction of it at Sotheby’s New York in an auction dubbed “Return of the NIGO.” Everything from lightsabers to cookie jars went under the hammer, and the 600 items went for a cool $505,202. Not bad for a bunch of retro — and in some cases faulty — toys.
