Marvin Gaye’s Son Says Baby Mama Wants ‘Blurred Lines’ Money
Marvin Gaye III and his family may have won $7.4 million dollars from Robin Thicke and Pharrell‘s Blurred Lines hit, but it looks like Gaye’s baby mama is asking for her share.
TMZ.com reports:
According to court docs, Gaye III owes Deanna Holly $62,564.44 in back child support … and L.A. county stepped in to file a lien against that “Blurred Lines” judgment. The move ensures that when Marvin’s checks start coming in, he’ll have to fork over the owed dough to Holly.
Back in March, a jury ruled the mega hit “Blurred Lines” infringed on the copyright of Marvin Gaye’s classic “Got to Give It Up.”
The $7.4 mil will be split among several Gaye kids and others, but now we know where some of Marvin’s cash is going.
Fair or foul?
