Democratic presidential candidate Lincoln Chafee’s campaign journey has come to an end. Chafee, who served as the former governor of Rhode Island, announced that he will drop out of the race today. “As you know I have been campaigning on a platform of Prosperity Through Peace,” said Chafee. “But after much thought I have decided to end my campaign for president today. Beyoncé Wins $7.1M Copyright Lawsuit

A&E to Air Special about Race Relations in America

A new television special on A&E will push the conversation about racial inequality forward. The one-hour program titled, Shining a Light: Conversations on Race in America, will follow artists like Pharrell and John Legend as they go into neighborhoods in Charleston, Ferguson, and Baltimore to get perspectives from the locals about the state of race relations in our country. “The current racial situation in America is at a critical point,” said executive producer Ken Ehrlich. “Today’s musical artists, much like those of the civil rights movement’s history, have strong feelings about what’s going on today, and we’re hopeful that ‘Shining a Light’ does, in fact, give a voice to their concerns, their hopes, and their thinking about solutions to the alarming events that we see around us every day.” The special is slated to air on Friday, November 20 at 8PM ET.
