Are you the family to give Galen his forever home?
If 17-year-old Daren could choose one place to be the entire day, it would be outside. Daren says that he enjoys swimming, riding his bike and fishing. He describes himself as outgoing, fun and energetic. Daren doesn’t currently play any sports, but he really enjoys watching football and baseball on TV. He says he loves to play basketball and hopes that his adoptive family will let him play for a team.
A Cincinnati Reds fan, Daren loves going down to the Great American Ballpark and seeing games. He loves cheering on the players and says that the ballpark is his favorite fun place. Daren likes anything with action in it and especially enjoys action-packed video games and movies. He also enjoys reading and says that his favorite books are the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series.
If you ask anyone he knows to describe Daren, they have great things to say. He is personable, eager to please and fun to be around. He is also very empathetic and relates well to others.
Daren says that he enjoys school and his favorite class is physical education. He needs a family who can work with him on his school work and help him apply himself in his classes. Daren would love if his forever family helped him with his math, reading and language arts.
Daren is excited to be adopted and wants a forever family who will spend time outdoors with him. He would do best in a forever home where he is the youngest child. This helpful teen says that he will help out around the house by picking up after himself and cooking meals. Daren needs a calmer family environment but also an active family who enjoys the same activities as he does.
