Assistant chief Eliot Isaac is spending his first full day on the job leading the Cincinnati Police department.
Isaac was sworn in, Wednesday, as interim chief, just hours after Jeffrey Blackwell was fired.
City manager Harry Black cited low morale, a hostile work environment, and poor communication among the reasons for the action.
