Joshua likes to think of himself as funny. But others say he’s the quiet, respectful type who’s sweet and responsible.He admits he doesn’t really like school, though he gets average grades and likes recess and playing with his friends.Josh doesn’t currently live with his brother, Dylan, 14, but he’d like a family who would be willing to help him stay in contact with Dylan and with their grandmother, whom Josh says has been very kind to him. “They do love their grandma very much,” says their CASA, who takes the boys to dinner and movies, during which she says they’re respectful and they mind her.She envisions Josh, with a little help, going to college and succeeding. Josh says that when he grows up, he would like to become “rich and famous.” He has no desire to act or sing, Josh is interested in entrepreneurship. He says he would like to create his own company where he builds houses.Josh would love both a mom and a dad and would like a home with animals. His caseworkers suggest he’d do best with an active family and he needs people who will help him keep up with his therapy and medication.
