Three Florida youths face charges for disseminating child pornography via an Instagram account.

The Associated Press reports that a 13-year-old girl and two boys, ages 12 and 15, created the account and began posting explicit images of other teens in Broward County, Fla. Worse, they used the account, which the Associated Press says amassed 500 followers, to encourage others to do the same. In addition, they also reportedly included some victims’ names and personal information in the posts.

They were ultimately stopped when word of the account reached police in Pembroke Pines, Fla. Authorities announced yesterday that the trio has been charged for transmitting child pornography.
