The state of Kentucky is paying for overdose reversal kits for three hospitals with the highest rates of heroin overdose deaths.
Governor Steve Beshear says about 2,000 Narcin kits will be purchased and sent home with overdosed patients.
Hospitals to receive the treatments include St. Elizabeth Health Care in Northern Kentucky.
