Dr. William Washington is a board-certified physician in private practice in Ohio. He was educated at Ohio State University, earning his medical degree there in 1989. Dr. Washington remains particularly excited about the opportunity to contribute to the awareness of health matters affecting the community in general, and African-Americans specifically.

Dr. Washington was a keynote speaker at last year’s African-American Male Wellness Walk in Columbus, Ohio, where thousands of men were screened for Prostate Cancer— several of whom were positively diagnosed.

As his practice is located in an urban area, Dr. Washington sees on a daily basis the importance of early testing, intervention and treatment of not only prostate cancer, but a whole host of other conditions that have had a negative  impact on the entire community, the Black community in particular.
