Good afternoon Cincinnati! Hope you all are having a wonderful Saturday afternoon, but just in case you’re looking for something extra special and extra fun to do before the day ends, it’s time to make your way over to the Forest Park area for a unique event that’s still going on as we speak.

What are we referring to? An exciting “Buzz in the Community” event – Youth Explosion 2010 at Inspirational Baptist Church – City of Destiny going on right now. Don’t forget contemporary gospel music artists J. Moss, 21:03 and Chris Clark will all hit the stage tonight and for free!

If you haven’t yet stopped by, let us fill in you on what’s taking place as we speak on the grounds of IBC. Be sure to stay connected by following us on Twitter (@1230amWDBZ) and Facebook for all the special updates.

The kids are celebrating with parents looking on and enjoying great fun, food and fellowship. We’ve been here all afternoon listening to some of the best in gospel music from Karen Clark Sheard to Hezekiah Walker and it’s not over. The show has just begun within the last hour with the main stage set to feature tons of local acts including the Xavier Gospel Choir, Lyrics for Christ, Jaleisha Lattimore and the Dunamis Mime Ministry among others.

Bishop Victor S. Couzens, senior pastor of Inspirational Baptist Church, has already made his rounds this afternoon speaking with 1230AM WDBZ‘s own “gospel diva” P. Ann Everson-Price. The two spoke about all that’s happening in the youth and young adult departments of the church as well as the exciting event we’re experiencing today. Check out the video coming soon featuring their exclusive interview live as it took place on the air just a few hours ago. We’ll be back with more!
