Two convicted killers, who were freed from prison through phony documents, were captured without incident over the weekend in a Panama City Florida hotel.

The men’s names are Joseph Jenkins and Charles Walker. They were taken into custody late Saturday afternoon into the evening at the Coconut Grove motor inn.

They were apprehended several hours after their family members held a news conference, urging the men to turn themselves in.

Jenkins was serving a life sentence for the 1998 shooting death of a father of six during a botched robbery.

Walker was sentenced to life in prison for the 1999 shooting death of a 23-year-old man. Walker said he did not mean to kill the man but fired three shots in the warning because the man had been bullying him.
