A Hamilton County Sheriff’s deputy is in the hospital, recovering from injuries suffered in a crash on I-275.
The sheriff’s office says Deputy Tom Lang was on the scene of a broken down vehicle, near the Ohio-Indiana border, Wednesday, when a tractor-trailer slammed into his cruiser.
Fire fighters had to cut Lang from his vehicle, and airlift him to a hospital with serious injuries. The truck driver was cited for failure to control.
