The state auditor says Cincinnati’s pension problems could make the city, “the next Detroit”.
Auditor Dave Yost says the underfunded retirement plan could bankrupt the city within 30 years, while leaving retirees with little to no benefits.
Yost is supporting a bill, that would force Cincinnati to fund its pension under the same rules as state pensions.
