This man is showing up everywhere this summer, but praise God this morning for Israel Houghton, who’s making his way to television this week.

Actually, he’ll be seen worshipping the King of Kings on your television screen starting tonight. Yes, you heard that correctly. Integrity Music artist Israel Houghton is slated to appear on the September 8th edition of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in support of his new release “Love God. Love People.”

Houghton, who is also fresh off the Deeper Conference in Houston, TX will be afforded the opportunity to do what we musicians and singers call participating in or having a “shed.” Unfamiliar with the term? Simply put, Israel will sit in with The Tonight Show Band led by music director Rickey Minor and basically have a jam session, but this one will be televised so be sure to tune in.

In addition, Houghton is scheduled to make a guest appearance on The Tavis Smiley Show on September 2nd. The new album “Love God. Love People” is available in stores now. Do you have a copy of Israel’s newest project? If so, what’s your favorite song? Let us know by posting your thoughts in the comments section below. Be sure to set your DVRs or TiVos to record Israel Houghton live on both The Tavis Smiley Show (September 2nd) and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (September 8th). Check your local listings for exact air times then come back and let us know what you thought of the shows. Congrats to Israel for taking the kingdom to the masses.
