The wrath and the destruction of this week’s Oklahoma tornado has brought up controversial comments by so called “religious leaders”.
Pat Robertson on the 700 club believes the tornado victims did not pray enough to keep the tornado from destroying their homes and lives of loved ones. On his show, “The 700 Club”, he said,
“If enough people were praying He would’ve intervened, you could pray, Jesus stilled the storm, you can still storms.”
Not only Pat Robertson contributed his thoughts about the tornado, but a member of the Westboro Baptist Church decided to give his two cents.
Fred Phelps Jr. believes the person to blame, for the Oklahoma Tornado, is NBA star Kevin Durant. He says that all of this has to do with the Oklahoma City Thunder star, and his coming out in support of Jason Collins. He tweeted that Oklahoma Thunder’s Durant “flips God by praising that f-word Collins. God smashes Ok, you do the math”.
