We know it might be a little early to be thinking of your plans for October, but this is one for the up-and-coming ministers of music, new artists and even some of the seasoned ones who are looking for a way to enhance their ministries. Concerned about dealing in the marketing tactics of your worship arts ministry? Well, the 12th annual IMAC Conference heads to the Nashville, TN area October 7-9, 2010 and you should be there for instructional value and networking opportunities if nothing else.

Emanating from Celebration of Life Church in Hendersonville, TN, the conference is designed to empower and inform those involved in faith-based arts and ministries. This year’s conference features a variety of workshops including topics on voice development, marketing & distribution, and both artist management & development.

There’s a whole slew of industry guests, clinicians and performers already confirmed for the three-day event this fall including Lowell Pye, Claude Deuce, Benita Bellamy, Telisa Stinson and Stan Jones. Artists like Earnest Pugh, Kyla Jade and BET Sunday Best finalist Maurice Griffin are also scheduled for attendance and participation in this year’s event.

The IMAC Conference will also feature a special salute to Angela Spivey for her work and dedication within the gospel music industry and abroad.

Will you try to attend? Are any of these artists one of your favorites? Have you ever attended or participated in the annual IMAC Conference? Let us know by posting your thoughts in the comments section below.
