An effort to save the historic Gamble house in Westwood came to an end yesterday.
Crews demolished the former home of P&G founder, James Gamble, Monday morning.
According to the Green Acres Foundation, who owns the property, they said it would cost too much to rehab the structure and the legal fight to tear the property down.
