A nurse, from Michigan, is suing the hospital after she was asked not to work on a newborn baby, in her unit, because of the color of the nurse’s skin.
Tonya Battle is suing the Hurley Medical Center, over accusations of racism as the father over accusations of racism that resulted in her being reassigned to another area because the father of a newborn allegedly did not want his child being cared for by a Black woman, reports WNEM.com.
