A senior of the Congressional Black Caucus is displeased with the lack of diversity with President Obama’s new White House appointments.

New York Congressman Charlie Rangel told MSNBC, on Thursday, that it’s “embarrassing as hell” that the president is facing the same charges the Democrats were accusing former presidential candidate Mitt Romney of. Rangel said:

“It’s embarrassing as hell. We’ve been through all of this with Mitt Romney. We were very hard with Mitt Romney with the women binder and a variety of things. I kind of think there’s no excuse for President Obama in his second term.

So far, President Obama has appointed Senator John Kerry to replace outgoing Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. This week, he appointed Chuck Hagel to replace Leon Panetta for Secretary of Defense. Just yesterday, White House Chief of Staff Jack Lew will replace Timothy Geithner for Secretary of Treasury.
