Opponents of a plan to privatize Cincinnati’s parking operations are taking their protests to the streets.
Dozens of community leaders passed out leaflets at businesses yesterday, claiming privately-owned parking meters would lead to higher rates and fewer customers.
The city could earn as much as 150 million dollars upfront for leasing its parking lots and meters.
