A Central Ohio man has been convicted of taking disabled adults to strip clubs on Ohio taxpayer money.
Marc Cox, of Canal Winchester Ohio, was convicted in court of aggravated theft. According to State Attorney, Mike Dewine, Cox will serve five years of community control and ordered to pay $166,000 in restitution to the state.
According to 10tv.com, Cox was not an authorized care provider and billed the state using provider information of a nonprofit Columbus organization that served the disabled individuals. He would also would drop off the individuals at a house to watch TV and play video games, and sometimes billed for more than 24 hours in a day.
