The attorneys for Ryan Widmer are appealing his murder conviction to the Ohio supreme court.
The jury in Widmer’s third trial convicted him in the drowning death of his wife, Sarah.
Defense attorneys argue the bathtub, where Sarah died, was illegally taken during the investigation.
