Investigators spent yesterday trying to figure out what led the 40 year-old Wade Michael Page from repairing missles for the army to shooting up a sikh temple in suburban Milwaukee.

The shaven-headed Page, whose tattoos included the white supremacist Celtic cross, had been the front man for a white power rock band called “End Empathy”. He was the front man of that band for several years. Authorities were able to identify him through several sources, including his Myspace page.

His path took him from Colorado to Milwaukee, where he enlisted in the army in 1992. He also moved to North Carolina, where he formed his rock band.
