The NFL is getting attacked by former players, due to the brain injuries they’ve suffered.
Scores of cases have been brought to federal court, accusing the NFL of hiding information that linked football -related trauma to permanent brain injuries. Now a federal lawsuit brings all these claims together.
Lawyers, for the former NFL players, say more than 80 pending lawsuits are now consolidated into a master complaint, filed yesterday in Philadelphia. They say their clients hope to hold the NFL responsible for the care of their players suffering from dementia, alzheimers disease, and other neurological conditions.
