He won World Gold but he’ll have to wait until 2016 to compete in the Olympics because of a technology. The Olympic committee limits the number of medals for any given sport and in fencing – one male and one female fencing discipline is being eliminated this year.
Ben Bratton would have been on the Olympic team but will have to wait until 2016- still he is the youngest and the only African American to win world gold for fencing.
