Educational strategies are evolving. The new generation seem to require a different kind of motivation to succeed in school. Dohn Community High School decided to “meet students where they are”. Principal Ramone Davenport sat down with SisterSpeak, as Dohn Community recently made national news. Although the concept of paying students to come to class has been implemented before (on the east cost), it is very controversial and uncommon. Mr. Davenport has some things for us to consider:
