This weekend was the funeral services of the late famous singer, Etta James. It was attended by many stars, including Stevie Wonder and Christina Aguilera. The event took place at the City of Refuge Church in Gardena, California. Etta James passed away of Leukemia on January 20th.

While Reverend Al Sharpton officiated the funeral ceremony, Stevie Wonder and Christina Aguilera performed her songs. Aguilera, who is a loyal fan of James, performed her hit song, “At Last”.

There was a lot of dialogue on the internet about whether her cover was good, or was Beyonce’s. Beyonce sang “At Last” during the first dance, between Barack and Michelle Obama, at the presidential inauguration. Which do you think had a better Etta James cover: Christina Aguilera or Beyonce’s?
