Will I-75 be renamed as the “Tuskegee Airmen Memorial Trail”? That could happen if state rep Denise Driehaus’s bill is signed into law. The state lawmaker is holding a news conference today discussing House Bill 57, which will designate I-75 as the “Tuskegee Airmen Memorial Trail”. According to the bill, the state transportation director does not have to put any signs or markers that say “Tuskegee Airmen Memorial Trail”.
Driehaus, at today’s press conference, will be joined by state representatives Mallory and Reece, city councilman Cecil Thomas, State Senator Eric Kearney, and members of the Tuskegee airmen.
