Marianne Gingrich believes her ex-husband lacks the moral character to be President of the United States. For the first time since her divorce, she is going public in telling her relationship with the former speaker.
In an interview with ABC News, she recalled the time when Newt confessed that he had a six-year affair with a congressional aide, on the phone. The former speaker of the house proposed the idea of having an “open marriage” and Marianne disagreed to it. Months later, Newt filed for divorce at the time Marianne was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
