The term “bankers hours” was coined because those offices seem to close with regularity and especially on holidays. On Monday, one bank found itself in a bit of hot water for being open.
Police were called out to the TD Bank on Main street in Burlington after protestors gathered outside of the building.
About 25 protestors objected to the fact the bank was open on the Martin Luther King, Junior holiday.
