‘Tis the season for giving and 123o The Buzz is in the holiday spirit! Yesterday, our very own Jeri Tolliver (along with supporting staff) made a trip to Riverview East Academy for a surprise party. It was an extra special treat as we were there with the Autism Units. We would like to thank Deborah Britt. Colleen Brueggemann, Sarah Froelischer, and Misty Griffith for sharing their wonderful, and very polite, students with us for the afternoon. The children indulged in a variety of delicious sweets and punch, just enough to keep the teachers on their toes for the rest of the day. Before the party was over each child received their very own gift bag stuffed with presents! We were most happy to bring them a bit of joy, and they certainly returned the favor with heart warming smiles.
We tip our hats to Jeri for she is one of our community leaders who demonstrates selflessness, looking not for the recognition. When and where you can spread love! If possible, volunteer your time to someone or an organization who can use some uplifting encouragement. There’s no greater gift than your time and support. It becomes everlasting in the minds and hearts of those who need it. Happy Holidays!
