Gayle King accused Wendy Williams of fabricating a letter from Oprah, during an interview on the Tom Joyner Morning Show yesterday.

King called Joyner to clear up rumors that there was “rift,” her and Oprah’s friendship. She also told Joyner that Oprah denied ever sending a letter to Williams.

“The letter that I heard Wendy read — I didn’t see it — I know Oprah never wrote a letter to Wendy. I said, ‘I’m getting all these messages that you wrote a letter to Wendy,’ and she goes, ‘Gayle, you know more than anybody knows that that’s not true,’ ” said King.
