Have retail stores gone to far for Black Friday? According to Anthony Hardwick, of Nebraska, he thinks so. While everyone will be with their families and friends, eating Thanksgiving dinner, Anthony will be resting so he can be awake for his midnight shift at Target.
Retail stores have been competitive in driving up sales revenue. To meet their expectations, they have been opening up earlier each year.
Anthony is trying to raise awareness, of how unfair it is, that retail stores are interfering with employees’s time off on holidays. He started a petition on change.org, that has gathered over 100,000 signatures
Roland Martin invited Charlotte Hill of Change.org to talk about the petition and its large following. In case you missed the interview, you can listen to the audio below.
