NEW YORK — Jamaican strong man Christopher “Dudus” Coke has plead guilty to racketeering charges in New York City. Dudus was captured last year in Jamaica after a two-month manhunt that included a violent clash between his supporters in Tivoli Gardens and Jamaican Police in which 76 people were killed.

Dudus has been connected to the ruling Jamaica Labor Party and ran the Presidential Clique — which controlled his native Tivoli Gardens — and imported cocaine into the U.S. and guns from the U.S. to Jamaica.

Dudus plead guilty to racketeering charges and admitted to orchestrating the importation of guns to Jamaica and running the Presidential Clique.
