Cincinnati Police are investigating an officer-related shooting on West Corry Street in Corryville.

“Basically the officers heard a radio call come out involving a group that was fighting. In that group one was described as a male, black, with a gun wearing white shorts or pants,” said Police Chief James Craig as he briefed reporters on the scene.

Craig says that a male suspect pointed a gun at an officer.

“When he saw the officer he pointed the gun in the direction of the officer. The officer fired one shot not striking the suspect,” Craig said.
