One of the most legendary artists in the gospel music industry stopped by the 2010 GMWA Convention this week and that’s none other than Pastor Shirley Caesar.

An icon, a legend, a leader and a singing machine in her own right, Pastor Shirley Caesar is highly respected for her matchless contributions to both contemporary and traditional gospel music. She’s done it all – touring, singing for nearly all of her life and having recorded a rare 45-plus albums over the last few decades and she’s still going strong.

Just a few hours before her headlining show at this year’s Macy’s Gospel Festival on yesterday afternoon, we sat down with Pastor Shirley Caesar for the rarest and most organic interviews we’ve ever done.

Thanks to quick thinking and even faster technology, we were able to capture Pastor Shirley Caesar in a relaxed setting as she shared memories of growing up in this business and discussed life on the road. Pastor Shirley Caesar is joined in the video interview by 1230AM WDBZ The Buzz’s own Bishop Bobby Hilton and I Hear Music in the Air’s Tracey Artis. We hope you enjoy parts one and two of this exclusive interview and round table discussion with gospel’s Pastor Shirley Caesar.
