There has been a lot of controversy lately surronding the “Man Down” music video by Rihanna. The video features Rihanna shooting a man in retaliation for domestic violence. The lyrics to the song also depict Rihanna telling her mother that she killed a man. Some groups, like the Parents Television Council say it promotes violence and it should be taken off. However, some people believe it should be shown with parental advisory so that kids and teenagers can understand the message behind the video.

TJMS correspondent, Jacque Reid interviewed author Leslie Morgan Steiner, who was a victim of domestic violence, to discuss how this video should be watched. In case you missed the interview this morning, you can listen to it below.

What do you think : should this music video be banned from television, or does it illustrate a lesson young people should learn? Let us know by writing your comments below.
